Mark Shields can still get off a good quip. From a Washington Roast last week. Reported by "RollCall."

Emcee Mark Shields did swell, saying that New Jersey's state motto has changed to "you have the right to remain silent"and adding of Torricelli's farewell speech: "I've seen better exits on the Jersey Turnpike."
