Bankruptcy is not the end of a business and certainly not a corporation; however, it is an effective way to facilitate financial restructuring and renders all common shares worthless. So buy at three, two, one, etc., but my question really is whether or not the Company will decide to restructure, not disappear. It is the bankruptcy question I'd want to answer before investing in AMR. And, yes, despite being the 'largest airline in America' they are under considerable pressure. BTW, there are [many] other carriers that could take up the slack if AMR scaled back. Despite size of AMR, airline industry is highly competitive in the U.S. and has many players. imho. best,
