Yep. Typical of the weak-kneed left.

Why thank you Bill. But I don't happen to agree with you. He does and has slaughtered his own people. His country provides safe harbor for terrorists of Hezbollah, although of course he says he claims they merely support Hezbollah as an organization engaged in struggle with an occupying power.

As for Iraq, I don't see how it has threatened the US. I think it is intellectually dishonest of you to say that. There is no proof Iraq has provided anything to Al Qaeda- yet there is ample proof the Saudis have. Why are we not going after the Saudis first? There is real proof there. Hmmmm...more intellectual dishonesty, on your part?

Is Bashar Assad in violation of a peace treaty with the US or UN?

Not that I can think of.

Does he slaughter his own people?

Yes

Does he fire at US and UK aircraft every day?

No.

Does he provide safe harbor and funding for Al Qaeda?

Not that I know of but he is a big supporter of terrorism.

Is he developing weapons of mass destruction?

Probably but it doesn't seem like he is putting as much effort in to it as Saddam.

Has he invaded his neighbors?

Bashar has not but his dad did when he was in charge.

Is he intent on seizing the world's oil supply?

I'm sure he would love to but he has never made any effort to do so nor do I think he will.

Has he threatened the United States?

Not directly but he does support terrorists and is no friend of the US.

Has he attempted to assassinate a US president?

I don't think so.

Does he have nuclear weapons capability and is he a threat to transfer it to terrorists who would target the US?

To my knowledge Syria has no nuclear weapon capability either currently available or likely to come on line in the next few years.
