OK. In event, maintaining your values would be more important than saving your life or fulfilling your ambitions. As I said, define self- interest primarily as upholding your values, and I think we are getting somewhere........

What if you thought that you could save perhaps 5% of the victims of the camp if you allowed the blood of the other 95% to be on your hands rather then the blood of 100% being on someone else's hands?

If you would not chose to do that yourself would you condemn someone else who did so?
