<<carefully worded legal case to the American people >>

Alomex, do you realize the average Amercian reads at a 4th grade level?

Some 'Americans' do not even speak basic coherent English, never mind understand a carefully worded legal case.

Besides, Rooney's an old irrelavent fart who's boring, not funny, and shoulda been off tv a long time ago. Do you realize they're trying to dump the producer of 60 Min becuase he's supposedly too old, yet they let Rooney dribble on? Rooney must have something on some CBS execs.

>> I agree, and a good politician has good manners to start with <<

perhaps bush's tutors would have been wiser to impress upon him the west-african proverb articulated by theodore roosevelt:

"speak softly and carry a big stick..."

rather, bush's diplomacy is:

"bluster loudly and carry sharon's big shtick."

>> He needed to construct a carefully worded legal case to the American people and the world <<

if iraq is such an imminent threat he only needs to make the case to the american people. why should americans leave the security of our country to the whims and opinions of the rest of the world? i do not understand this obsession with americans to join the world community of nations while seeking consensus on everything. the world is never going to have consensus, and the sooner americans realize this, the better off we will be.

AMERICANS should decide what is in the best interests of america, not the UN. apparently many americans are ignorant of just what our founders wanted when they steered this nation upon a course of INDEPENDENCE
