Rand hardly knew the language when she escaped Russia. Regardless of whether one agrees or disagrees with her philosophy...she was an amazing womnen with an incredible intellect. She suffered a lot for being so unique and brilliant. After learning English she lived an incredible life. It is hard to fathom the courage of a woman (in those times) tackling such controversial issues.
