Not a bad point, Dave. I don't have a good answer, but multiple -1000 TICKs have always seemed good for a bounce, even over the last couple of years. I think more meaningful here is that three of them happened on declines of less than 100 Dow points; that's heavy selling.

I find the +1000 TICK is just as important. The last two times we put a string of positive TICK extremes were early October and late August, both were nice shoritng opps.

I think the key is sustained extreme TICK.
