Oh, of course he's evil. Jeez, no one doubts that, or that the Iraqis are suffering under his monstrous oppression. But by introducing the L word, I wonder if you are implying that the Guardian made up the quotes, or that the quoted intelligence experts are liberals, and thus lying? Vincent Cannistraro, the CIA's former head of counter-intelligence?The physicist David Albright who is the head of the Institute for Science and International Security? The ex-CIA guy, Bob Baer? Stephen Baker, a retired US navy rear admiral who assesses Iraqi military capabilities at the Washington-based Centre for Defence Information? IMO it's important to pay attention when credible voices in the intelligence community are saying something is wrong, here, and saying that there are efforts to silence them and to distort the facts.
