There were those, fewer in number, who fretted about attacking the Taliban too. When Iraq is liberated, Bush and Blair will see the support is there. I for one think that ridding the world of these menaces is far more important than an extra point or two of GNP growth this year and next. Being able to buy a little bit nicer TV or eat out a little more at the price of a higher risk of a WMD-equipped madman? I don't get that attitude at all. Of course, I also haven't agreed with the French about anything not involving cooking or loving since they assisted in our revolution.
