Here is a graphic of the shooting at the school in Bowie, Maryland. Notice the arrow pointing to Route 50. In the opposite direction, is a state road--197--that leads into congestion. To get to Route 50, the murderer must walk out of the woods, climb into his vehicle, and then proceed towards Route 50 by driving past the victim and possibly any police, school security, etc. Where was he parked? Did an accomplice pick him up after the shot? Once he gets on Route 50, he may not want to drive into Washington City. He takes 50 east to Route 301 which will take him to Fredericksburg. However, 301 has traffic lights too. Some locals use 301 to avoid the beltway.

What about the murders in the Rockville area? He starts blasting on October 2 in the evening during rush-hour--5:20 pm to be exact. Actually, no one is rushing in the Rockville area during rush-hour. It is stop-and-go, with stop-lights, and traffic cameras everywhere. This guy or his vehicle must be on film. After that, he takes 44 minutes to get through traffic to murder his first victim at 6:04 pm. Perhaps, he has dinner, and three hours later shoots someone a block into the District. About 10 hours later, he is back in Rockville during rush-hour and shoots someone on a lawnmower on Rockville Pike. Rockville Pike is one big stop light strewn mess lined with traffic cameras. After 32 minutes, he shoots someone at a gas station on another crowded street in rush-hour. In 25 minutes, he is back shooting just up the road. In 81 minutes, after he may have passed the scene of one of his killings, and while probably watching police drive about him, he kills his last for the day. Either he drives his vehicle with his feet or he has an accomplice.
