Victor, You are correct about the ill fated rescue mission by our forces. What I don't understand, is why the military leaders involved did not realize what the blowing sands would do to the choppers' engines. Since the hostages were split up, maybe a covert operation of agents of another entity would have been a better attempt. I don't pretend to know the answer to that. Sometimes I depict the worst of a situation in order to quiet another poster. Not very nice, but is sometimes an effective tactic.
