Ed, You sound like an advertisement for "Soma", the mind control drug that Aldous Huxley warned us against: somaweb.org You don't quite have the diversion stream quite correct. The sniper thing takes up an inordinate amount of attention in the media, as does Iraq. Both are designed as diversions from the fact that the criminal conspiracy best exemplified by the excesses of Enron and Global Crossing, among others, is receiving nothing but lip service from Congress, no serious attention from the Department of In-Justice and barely any headway in civil court. The swindles on behalf of the financiers and the war rackets contractors are proceeding unabated, out of sight, and out of mind to most of the public. Then there are swindles like this eye-popper that are completely hidden by the media, the lobbyists and the pols: wrmea.com
