Thes San Francisco Chronicle seem to forget a few allies of the US that did come out : FIRST RANK ( open news) : Spain, Turkey, Koweit, Qatar, Australia. (Spain was neutral with Hitler!) SECOND RANK ( don't ask their newspapers to say so, but the leaders accepted war : Egypt, Morocoo, Tunisia, Mauritania. THIRD RANK : but totally secret and will claim at length the opposite: Iran, Jordan. How in this new fast competition world can the SF Chronicle's three journalists forget, let's say Australia... without being fired by the editor ASAP ? Could it be that they are not in the news business ? PS: I may have forgotten the Stans, Oman and a few small ones.
