Hi Louis, Although 1974 was the bottom if you did not adjust for inflation, 1982 was the inflation adjusted bottom. geocities.com I expect to see the same in this cycle so that 2006 is the bottom with no inflation adjustment and 2014 +or - 48 months could be the inflation adjusted bottom and the end point of the secular bear. I expect Greenpimp's printing press to overcome deflation and eventually manifest the inflation that will allow all debtors, including the US gov't., to pay off their debts with cheaper dollars and set the stage for the next secular bull in the late 2010's.
