It's been my position that the invasion wouldn't be too much trouble (for us, LOL), but that the occupation would be the hard nut. I've repeatedly stated that the US would have no trouble defeating Saddam Hussein and knocking him out of power. My posts to this effect date as far back as a few days after the WTC attack.

By the way, I also predicted that our forces would be cheered in Kabul.
