I believe we have a real test here. Bob has not signaled a buy. If the train has left and he does not get on - then he goofed. If it falls back and he gets on at a lower level - that is followed by a rise - he is a big winner.

If you were to put that question to Bob you'd probably get the standard nebulous answer like...

When the market timer model turns positive we plan to re-enter the market at that point.

But don't expect any guidance until that day happens because -- Bob is only relying on some unknown, untested model. And if Bob misses the bottom, as is most likely, don't expect him to answer for it.
