You may well be right, but the bull case:

(1) We have had a much longer than average, broad decline,
especially in the Nasdaq.

(2) We've had a really bad few months, ending just a few
days ago - so are way oversold.

(3) The VIX has been in the range for past lows

(4) We are in October.

It just seems to me that we are setting up for a rise
over the next few years. No one knows the exact timing, of
course, but I'd be careful going short here.

Did you see this today?:
Is Buffett buying?

Rumors abounded Tuesday that the Oracle of Omaha was getting out of bonds, and getting into stocks.

I took a position in the RYUAX. The Dow and S&P 500 may have gone too far too fast

Good timing Robert...

I like to pair Rydex Ursa and Arktos when the market dips... This covers the SPX and NDX on the way down...

If the IBM news doesn't stop the slide I'll add to Ursa and Arktos positions... If the market reverses, I'll reverse into Nova, and possibly Velocity 100 and Titan 500... One day at a time... : >
