Yeah, I guess your right, only 800 MILLION dollars in bad times in one quarter, sigh.......

That rally was fun while it lasted... Ahhh... the old "too much too soon" rally... sigh Overall the numbers weren't terrible... but they weren't great either. Revenue was $6.5B which is smack in the middle of the guidance, so that's a positive... Units sold was higher across the board (so much for those "market share gain" claims from AMD), but ASP appears to have suffered a bit as did GM. I saw some mention of "excess capacity" in the report as well. I wish there had been a bit more granularity to that statement... is the"excess capacity" for the older technologies? For the newer technologies? Across the board? I expect some pointed questions when the Q&A session starts...
