"Surge biggest since 1933".

As I tried to suggest to the thread in Aug, a final Oct nasdaq low is very much in line with how we are mimicking the 29-32 dow market. Jeff believes that the ultimate low will be extended out, and his low has this nasdaq bear going longer than the 29-32 dow bear did. We are about 2 months shy of the full length of 29-32 crash, not 4-8 months short.

I think it is simply wise to be open to the idea that any low put in here in the next few weeks could be it. If we continue to follow the pattern of 29-37, we would rally to 1400 or so, and then drop back to around here, in early summer, and then absolutely explode for about 2 years. Or we will do what Jeff says and the bear will be a few months longer than the 29-32 one. We'll see.

Either scenario, a final low now, or a final low in Spring or later, still suggest extreme caution until the middle of next year.
