I think it is simply wise to be open to the idea that any low put in here in the next few weeks could be it. If we continue to follow the pattern of 29-37, we would rally to 1400 or so, and then drop back to around here, in early summer, and then absolutely explode for about 2 years.

gene....with that theory...do you really expect us to trade between 1100-1400 till next summer.....

that means AMZN was at 20 bucks in your version of the final washout phase....

a washout phase is like CSCO at 5....INTC under 7....QLGC...KLAC...NVLS...10-12....AMZN 5.....

you sure give this worst bear of our lifetimes a nice soft landing.....

The retrace isn't just about following the timeline of the early 30's. It is about the economic rule that says all bubbles shall end in an undervalued situation. By that metric, we're nowhere near the end.
