Tiger: its factually incorrect to say that because there was a deficit that revenues were down '82-88. the correct non-political statement is that revenues were up significantly and spending was up astronomically more, thus a deficit. so the tax cuts did not cause a decrease in revenues as predicted by some. Congress was not able to restrain spending.

p.s. You still haven't disclosed a socal program that Ronaldus heralded and broke the budget with.
