Interesting article on the state of Palestinian reform. The author thinks getting rid of the PLO is job one.

Definitely. A little over the top with the rhetoric but the points are good ones. One obvious omission is Hamas and the other Islamists groups. They will certainly be involved in any post-Arafat struggle for power. Any idea why this particular writer left them out?

My own answer to that question is ideological bias--Hudson Institute and National Review, thus the argument is meant only to offer the best possible view of Bush' initiatives.
