Right. ray needs to do some learning.

One of the sad things re Iraq is that the Iraqi people surely do not want all these weapons all around them.
They really are less rigid and more enlighted than many of the other nations of the mideast. Literacy rates in Iraq are comparable to or higher than those in the US.
Saddam initially gained power by posing as a concerned politician who wanted to expand social welfare, health and education programs. So that tells us what the people there value.

But once in power he tossed all that aside and began work on his real objectives.
