The meek shall indeed inherit the earth, maybe sooner than we expect. Can you imagine the future of escalating suicide squads in a billion-population country, along with Pakistan's recent change, on the road to fully suicidal military policy...? Ironically, these countries point to US/USSR MAD policies as they cheerfully prepare to annihilate each other. Unlike the atheists in the old USSR these guys believe in the afterlife, so they can "win" even if they all die, as long as the other side dies too. One would think it's time for US leadership to show an interest in reducing armed conflict. If I didn't know better, I'd say the real policy is to maximize global combat however and wherever possible.
