Lennox was found guilty in Pa courts in April of 1997 under products liability. It was learned in trial that 13 families were poisoned before us. None of these families ever got their cases to court.

Since our poisoning I am aware of at least 5 fatalities and 7 total disabilities resulting from the same type Lennox furnace. Large numbers of illnesses are happening without anybody knowing the cause.

I have contacted various politicians, CDC, CPSC and a few newspapers about the poisoning and the trial. To date I can not get the CPSC to issue a recall of this appliance.

Lennox knew that the furnaces were dangerous and stated in a letter in 1990 that the vent spill switch was shutting down units in the Pittsburgh area when the furnace was not overcoming a cold column of air in masonry chimneys. The gasses were coming into the living quarters and were tripping a heat sensitive switch on the units. Lennox referred to these trippings as "nuisences trippings." Their cure was to increase the shut off temp from 230* to just over 300* so that the continued heat from the exhaust would ultimately rise and flow out of the chimneys but the unit would not shut down. OF course all of the start up exhaust would still spill into the homes.

I still maintain an effort to have Lennox held to criminal charges due to the knowing assault on infants in the homes of their clients.
