nspolar, your metamorphous from walrus to bull

First it would seemingly be some time out in the future. I gather you see a bottom coming in about a month but no fireworks till mid next year.??

"Timing wise it would leave us with bottom in about a month, followed by some basing to net up, followed by a powerful upsurge starting before mid year next year."

Like your suggested use of the PPO and the Stoscastics....I've taken the same indicators and put them on the HUI along with the 50 and 200 day EMA, converted to their weekly equivalent. The situation looks no less bearish. Master trend line comes in around 82.....that's down 25% from here and would hardly be a surprise if Gold went to your suggested $295. Might happen if the SM gets a head of steam going for it, but I see only 6-8% more upside before a correction of the correction will be due…..

The HUI's 50 & 100 day EMA are up at 119 and the 200 is at 110

Just remaining, here, are us long term confident bulls / short term at a minimum cautious bears.

Hey, move over, it's getting a bit crowded in here....
