There's the problem many see with this particular " hammer ".

And the voices of concern and discontent are rising in Israel just as they have risen in the US with junior hammer lately.

There have been noted occurrences of aggressive hammering behavior just at the time when peace negotiations or other events were about to begin, or when the PALs stopped their own hammering for extended periods in hopes of negotiation.
It is well documented, but there was always the next excuse to go after the " terrorists ".

So it is more than obvious that the agenda runs much deeper than to merely squash the intifada.That too has been discussed here in many posts, but is obvious the voices of dissension of anything the Israeli government does is considered UN - patriotic there, just as it was portrayed is the US till certain people grew a backbone.
