John... Personally, I would feel that posting Ann Coulter and her banter on this thread is about a inappropriate as posting Dowd... Both are famous for giving off more heat than light.

The facts are pretty obvious to those who wish to review them.. N. Korea is one it's last legs economically. We're shipping them fook and heating oil, for god's sake... how demeaning for them to have to resort to "blackmail" in order to keep their regime afloat.

But in Iraq, we have a leader who has more money than he knows what to do with, and who in fact, has been willing to defer billions in potential oil revenues in order to prevent the resumption of intrusive inspections in obedience to UNSC resolutions.

Saddam has used chemical weapons.. both against Iran, and against the Kurds. There is no record that I know of where N. Korea has ever used chemical weapons...

The two scenarios are vastly different.. However, that said, US policy towards N. Korea will definitely cool for the forseeable future without some display of dismantling of their Nuclear program.

Btw, thanks for removing that thinly veiled bias we all knew lurked behind your "I need to be convinced" semantics...
