16:09 ET VRTS Veritas Software beats by a penny, updates Q4 guidance (15.90 +0.44)
Reports Q3 (Sep) earnings of $0.14 per share, $0.01 better than the Multex consensus of $0.13; revs were $365.7 mln, vs consensus of $357.6 mln. Expects EPS of $0.12-$0.14 (consensus is $0.14) and says it is comfortable with First Call's rev consensus of $377 mln.
