It was a little more than I had planned on but I certainly got my fix for the month. The trouble with those kind of adrenalin rushes is that they wear off and then you start craving them again - just like any other drug. When you run into conditions like that, going downwind with the seas quartering so you're riding the sides of the waves, it is truly awesome. You can feel the power of the wind, the seas and the boat. To me, there's no better thrill.
