If I have this pegged, I truly believe that we will have plenty of time to get short. I suspect that many shorts will cover a little bit on every drop and bulls will buy a bit of every dip. I don't think we will see a crash, just a steady decline for the next two months with interspersed little 2-3 rallies.

Fund flows from week ending 10/16..

Equity Funds report net cash outflows of $4.1 Billion for the week ended 10/16/02 for all sectors; despite a $100 Billion + increase in assets due to market action.
Real Estate Funds report the 4th consecutive week of outflows.
Taxable Bond inflows total $1.4 Billion - with most going to Government Funds investing in Mortgages and all Corporate Bond Fund sectors.
Money Market Funds report inflows ($3.3 Billion).
Municipal Bond Funds report the first outflow in 11 weeks ($505 Million).
