The "not able to electronically comply" may be something bigger than previously speculated. Who knows what he asked for, electronically?(!) It could have been a simple email, or the offshore banking stuff as previously suggested. Or maybe some other more vastly unusual thing — perhaps he wanted a "protected" remote-televised interview with Connie Chung (in a vein similar to Unibomber publishing his "Manifesto")? A setup with a PC-Cam, chatting with Connie about this and that, unfettered by local police entanglements. Definitly not "electronically possible". He could have wanted any number of "electronic" options. "Electronic" encompasses a vast world, Connie Chung being the least of which...

As you can see, CNN sources now are confirming to CNN that something has, indeed, happened. For further analysis on this, let's go to CNN's consulting criminologist. Doctor, what does this tell you about the character of the perpetrator? They're urging the public to stay calm, but, honestly, I don't see any basis for that kind of statement. ANCHOR: All right. We have confirmation that, indeed, something has happened.
