Good article from TNR by a guy on your side, John. WHY LIBERALS SHOULD SUPPORT THE WAR. False Alarm by Jonathan Chait It is a well argued article but Chait doesn't strike me as a self-identified "liberal" whatever that is. All too often in the essay he refers to "liberals" as "they" or "them", not "we" or "us." So, on the face of it, it looks like yet another piece by a not-liberal telling liberals what to do and think. I presume there was some back and forth in either The New Republic or other places about the argument. Have you seen it?
