Gee! I wonder if there will be enough spectrum to share with everybody in the whole wide world when they are all using one form or another of CDMA tech?

If not, it could be really bad in an emergency. Then yes, I would pay big bucks for access.

Don't have to tell me about gray skies. Living in Seattle doesn't allow one to be complacent about preparing for a rainy day. We just put in more stores (that is an old seafaring term for groceries, booze, cigarettes, [we haven't smoked since we were sailors, and that was a while back] paper towels ect....) and routinely rotate our wardrobes due to mold.

Our local water dept. even sends us out two gallons of bottled drinking water every year to put away in case there is some kind of emergency. Not that we don't have a ton of natural water in the form of rain to contend with on a daily basis from October through May. I always thought they could spend their/our money in better ways.

There is nothing wrong with being prepared. That is why I ran right out and bought a new aGPS MOT 720 phone. I will be ready when the e911 system comes on line, and fate disturbs my tranquility.
