I missed that piece. Thanks for posting it. As is probably obvious, I agree very strongly with what he says. One principal difference between a totalitarian society and a free society is the right to dissent. If one disagrees but doesn't dissent, what is the benefit of the free society? In fact, an argument could be made that the true un-American is the person who dissents only in their own mind, but refuses to make their dissent known, since that person is denying the very right which distinguishes a free society from an unfree society.
