Another update on PTT from Verizon and Alltel.... Alltel stated that they would be trialing their solution during early '03. They expect other CDMA carriers to have a commercial PTT solution during '03. Verizon confirmed this by saying that they expect to have PTT during '03. It may end up being buggy and have a long latency, but it is definitely coming. Alltel is just about the most conservative telco around....if they are spending money on a trial, they must be convinved that they have a viable solution. Slacker
