chinton, It would be hard to hide a sub even along the temperature inversion line in ambush since aircraft carrier groups use active airborne and subsurface ASW which will pick up subsurface ambush situations. LNG gets cost effective worldwide around $4.20/mcf as technology for consturcuting both LNG terminals and ships is improving and dropping in cost. The explosive potential is why countries want LNG terminals built way away from anyhting else on the docks! Sincerely, Doug F.
