The 21st century version of the chicken and the egg will be: Does Islam foster the development terrorism and intolerance? Or are those already inclined to terrorism and intolerance drawn to Islam? Or is the relationship symbiotic?

It shouldn't be surprise, but I disagree with your next premise. There are just too many terrorists of too many stripes and venues of action. I'd like to see them all taken care of. Heck, I knew in my state we had the so-called white supremist folks, and those christian-idendity folks, and the this and that. To think we might have a training ground for Islamic terrorists? dang. that could wear out even a redneck.
