Bush may be a "Dry Drunk" but the real joke is that the administration still holds to the fiction that he actually had anything to do with the speeches he gives or decisions made in the Executive Branch.

Listening to his unscripted moments, the lack of any open news conferences and his lack of ability to respond to complex issues, he's clearly just a dim and likeable front-man, which the Bush Senior crowd like to have in front of the public, like Dan Quayle.

Can you imagine Junior in a real press conference?
LOL!

That's why Cheney has Rummie doing the tough talk, and Ari doing the royal court jester routine.

If both Cheney and Junior were to give regular open press conferences, the remaining shreds of their credibility would evaporate. Better for them that they stay completely scripted and bunkered in the shadows.

W did not attend any therapeutic recovery treatment which would give more credence to his "dry drunk" situational reality. Have you noticed how he changes his opinions frequently? That is part of his inability to focus on and remember complex situations from day to day. He doesn't seem to be able to remember what his advisors told him to say yesterday. He keeps the international audience hanging over what position he'll change by tomorrow. IF his memory was better he would at least have the presence of mind to be more consistent in his lies!

You need to have a good memory if you're going to be a good liar.
