The Bush administration has committed itself to allowing for the possibility that Saddam will do the following things:

I can't remember all of them but the list is rather long. Here are the ones I remember:

1) be honest about WMD programs for the first time in his life;
2) comply with inspections for the first time in his life;
3) quit oppressing his people for the first time in his life;
4) quit menacing his neighbors for the first time in his life.

Bush is a devout Christian so he has to allow for the fact that people do sometimes have a complete change of heart.

If Saddam repented and quit his wicked ways, there would be no reason to depose him.
