It's the victim's fault. What a tired old story. The abuser? He is generously offering his traumatized victim(s) the opportunity to transcend his sadism, his slanders, his threats. He exercises his free choice, and chooses to get off on causing suffering. Ah, "free choice." How he loves the concept.
