Hmmm, knowing young male gang thugs as I do, I am not surprised that there was some of that going on. Imagine being a poofter Taig. That would NOT be fun. But 100 for one gang? That's getting very busy. One a week or maybe two at a time? That would mean two years of uninterrupted mayhem from one gang. I doubt it. I don't think the police would allow that. How much of that was revenge against Gerry Adams' lot? When did "Let's get a Taig" get started? It's not surprising that the 'civilian' numbers were high, on both sides. Sure, I don't know much about Northern Ireland but over the decades I have seen plenty enough to form some judgements which seem continuously robust. One of the main problems was the silly American support for the IRA. Now thankfully dramatically reduced thanks to Osama's murderous mayhem which brought home to Americans just what terrorism means up close and personal. Oh, now I see the end of the Moscow hostage siege by Moslem Head-Hackers. Much explosion and shooting. Good riddance to the chief Moslem Head Hacker who was killed in the explosions and shooting. The Moslems started murdering hostages so the Russians attacked. I suppose the outcome will be [was] quite bad. Mqurice
