RR,

I hate debt. I have said on here for years that a life goal for everyone ought to be to have no debt. None. I'm a believer in that as a life principle.

Financial Goal Number One: No Debt. 40 may be a bit optimistic, but we're heading in that direction.

Good advice on your part.

RR,

Believe it or not, I actually do smile from time to time, but it is in response to the good things people do and not to the stupidity they demonstrate. You see, the SHEEP can be nice and still be following the masses to financial destruction. On a more important note, the SHEEP can also be pretty good morally, yet they can follow the masses again to an eternal destruction because the way to life is too simple for them to grasp. It does not make perfect "human" sense, or they let the other part of being human get in the way -- the part that says, "I want to always do things MY way." That is another topic I try not to let get in the way of financial commentary, but in doing so, many, like you, get a distorted picture of my true nature. I spend the majority of my time helping others. In the financial realm, I hope my gruffness will open a few eyes to save them some pain later down the road.

I remain,

SOROS

p.s. I am not short. Don't have the stomach for it.
