did you ever see any evidence that the PBCCH problem was solved? I saw how it was handled, yes, but I can't remember the details. And, yes, absolutely positively it was a problem. And finally, do you have any real evidence that the suppoused EDGE problems are real ones? Yes. Read the March 26 CommsDesign article on the point I think might be problematical. Read on, scratchy, there's another post on the issue. It involves Tropian and its efforts.
