The administration is stalling, attempting to get royal authority, rather than getting the first round of inspectors in per current UN consent, and dealing with results with further response as appropriate, up to and including armed invationsion if necessary. The administration doesn't want that, preferring royal authority to push military into any areas they wish, at any time, with or without public evidence. That's their goal. This is the ultimate recipe for completely unaccountable totalitarianism, and the precedent desired. Along with sudden strange upsurge in terrorism when the Bush administration began, it means if this continues we'll soon be under martial law here in the US. Any efforts of unaccountable force are un-American and need to be opposed.
