Pearly, Had he shown more resolve and not steered people into that peace, possibly they could have stalled Hitler and forced a peace on him and Eorope would have armed a bit more and the balance would have shifted against him being able to wage war.
Remember, when hitler and Russia were in cahoots, how the socialist unions would not help in the war againt germany(russia's ally)?.
Once Hitler attacked russia, all those unions changed their tack.
This revealed how far the communist party had penetrated the union management, if not much of the ranks.

One war started the remaining peacenicks were reveled as fools, and they mutrly got down to work.

Can't agree at all. Cost many Britons their lives. He attempted lead them into his idea of peace - at near any cost.
