stlouispostdispatch.com FedEx truck explodes in north St. Louis County 10/29/2002 01:18 PM A FedEx truck exploded on Interstate 270 near Bellefontaine Road in north St. Louis County this afternoon. Authorities are investigating the cause of the explosion and what cargo the truck was carrying. Traffic on I-270 in both direction was halted as the investigation continued.
