People on EMAIL don't know your SI handle (or anything else about you) unless you give it to them. And as I said... "Of course, emails have a much more sophisticated screening capacity than SI; which is another way they are different. And (of course) they are not seen and commented upon by dozens of people which is a very big difference." ________________________ "With an alias you have a total screen from your 3d identity" For pities sake. Most emails uses an alias. Many SI accounts do not. This is just red herring foolishness...email people are not subjected to public interaction in the same way as SI acccount holders. You generally choose EMAIL correspondents one at a time, and you can cancel any mistakes. Email is predominantly a private and autocratic forum...SI is predominantly a public and democratic forum.
