Pretty much. But the point is, around all the toe tapping and wise remarks, that the family and the democrats may have gone overboard in politicizing this funeral. I'm not sure that's something you do all the way to the grave and I'm quite sure Wellstone himself would not have approved of this. While the parties have different points of view with regard to issues I understand that a great many of them are friends outside the political arena. While Chenney and Wellstone may not have been I don't think you turn away the sitting VP for a memorial. It wasn't the dignified thing to do and IMO will be silently frowned upon by most common sense Americans. The only reason there wont be more said is because of the circumstances. This was clearly a mistake and uncool regardless of which political belief you subscribe to. I think its that simple and I think most people would agree
