Come on, Neo.

All of those are imposing our values.

You don't even contend that most of those were actions in our defense. Using force to prevent what we consider a humanitian tragedy is imposing our values. Thwarting a communist government is clearly imposing our values. Reinstalling a President whose philosophies we prefer is clearly imposing our values. I don't think you can name a single country in the world (outside of Argentina and the Faulklands) which in the past thirty years has invaded -- I would say any at all, but for safety's sake I will say more than one -- non-contiguous country unless prodded to do so by the US (as in Yugoslavia). We are the only country which asserts the right to send our troops anywhere we want to anywhere in the world to impose on the countries what we think is best for them.

You pretend there was no context for the action, as if we wantonly attacked sovereign nations
minding their own business..

Somalia was minding its own business. So was Greanda. So was Yugoslavia. None were doing a damn thing to us. So Grenada got a communist government. That's their internal business. So Panama was sending drugs into the US. So does Canada, so does Mexico, so do many other countries. We can't solve our internal problems by invading other countries just because we lack the will to control our population's craving for drugs.
